Caya

As we walked into CAYA, we walked ourselves into some calm and relaxing vibes. The ambience was filled with lots of fresh breeze greeting the gazebo. The lighting was perfect and very encouraging for hearty conversations. Being the restaurant week, we were super thrilled to embark on this coastal, modern culinary adventure, trying out some of the exotic dishes prepared by Chef Philip. Not just the dishes, the plating was fantastic! Each course was served with care and different permutation and combinations of flavors.

The desert looked very inviting and did not disappoint. We immediately knew we were at the right place to enjoy the restaurant week.

The outdoors was equally beautiful as the indoors. There were a few others enjoying dinner and wine by the warm fireplace. Caya has succeeded in giving us the vacation vibes even when we are Santa Barbara locals and didn’t actually travel to get here.

While we exited, we got to see the absolutely elegant courtesy vehicle that blended so well with the character of this place. We knew that the evening was perfect to enjoy the Santa Barbara restaurant week.
