Beautiful Ambience, lots of Pink and unique themed rooms!
Madonna Inn is a beautiful place with lots of character. One of the places that clearly stands out in terms of service and ambience. This is located on the west side of US-101 in San Luis Obispo, California.
Madonna Inn is created by Alex Madonna, a construction magnate and his wife Phyllis. There is lot of pink decors, for pink being the favorite color of this couple. The inn contains, a Copper Cafe, a popular spot for brunch, coffee and a bakery for the sweet tooths.
We were given water in Chalice Goblets, this felt very royal. The ambience felt very coppery in the cafe and almost all the tables had the ‘pick and shovel’, the Madonna brand. Asking more, Shelly, our waitress was very kind to let us know more about this place. She also handed out a book that talks more about the history and the beginnings of ‘Madonna Inn’. The food, caramel latte and pink champagne cake tasted fantastic at this cafe.
After brunch, we were all excited to explore the other areas of this resort hotel. From the cafe’s staircase, we visited the Boutique. This one had a nice collection of souvenirs, clothes and scarfs!
There is more, we also found a Gourmet store, water fountains in the interior and a private lounge area. All this is incredible!
As we set out to explore the outdoors of this resort, we acknowledged that the exteriors are as well maintained as the interiors. There are lots of flowers, a secret garden, statues, fountain and tennis courts in the property.
This is a recommended staycation. Experience all the wonderful memories that the resort is bound to offer. Good food, sweet treats, spa, shopping, music, dancing and horseback rides!
